Public Television – KTEH
Hands On Gourmet is a big supporter of public broadcasting. We feel that everyone should have access to quality commercial free programming for generations to come! We were thrilled when Chef Stephen had the opportunity to be featured as the celebrity Chef during a fund drive. H.O.G. also donated the set for the entire show.
Glide Memorial Church
Through a relationship with Glide Memorial Church, Hands On Gourmet is able to offer guests a chance to work together in the kitchen to support those in need. H.O.G. groups add an extra dose of compassion to the mix by creating healthy, satisfying foods for the homeless.
Moolah for Mutts
Hands On Gourmet loves all animals… the two-legged AND the four-legged kind. Through the Moolah for Mutts fundraiser hosted by Muttiville, efforts are made to find homes and care for older dogs that need special attention.
Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture – (C.U.E.S.A.)
Hands On Gourmet is dedicated supporter of the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture – (C.U.E.S.A.) the non-profit that runs the Ferry Building Farmer’s market. In addition to Molly’s hours of volunteer work, we donated a hands on cooking party to support their annual fundraising efforts.
Kids in the Kitchen
For a number of years, we have partnered with the Junior League of San Francisco to promote the Kids in the Kitchen project. Executive Chef Stephen Gibbs, along with other Hands On Gourmet chefs, explore healthy and fun eating options with underprivileged students and their parents. We teach participants tools for healthy eating and the joy of spending time together in the kitchen and around the dinner table.
